Bradley Williamson President of Treasure Expeditions

Bradley Williamson treasure hunting

I have led successful Treasure Expeditions both domestically and internationally recovering Lost & Sunken Treasure for over 20 years. However, I am a bit unusual in that I can either be found in a lab working on medical research as a 4.0 GPA graduate student at Johns Hopkins University, & Medicine (with my focus being on Human Genetic Bio-engineering) or being filmed for television on a remote corner of the globe leading an archaeological expedition while diving with sharks, jumping out of airplanes, going through jungles, etc., to find lost treasure, while also studying archaeology at Harvard.

I consider myself a treasure hunter, scientist, explorer and television character. My travels have taken me around the globe, from the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City in China, to the Grand Pyramids in Egypt. Also, I have led expeditions both domestic and international searching for and recovering buried treasures and sunken treasures from numerous shipwrecks. Additionally, I have been fortunate to explore the legends of pirate treasure and even lost gold mines in the Superstition Mountains. It is hard to believe but I have been doing this so long that I now have over 25 years’ experience of successfully recovering sunken and lost treasures both here in the U.S and internationally. When I was younger, I had the great fortune to have dived and worked with Commander Bob “Frogfoot” Weller for many years on numerous treasure recovery projects. Bob is regarded as one of the most respected and successful treasure hunters and is the author of numerous books and articles on treasure hunting. Bob, my mentor in treasure hunting, was also a member of UDT Team 1, which was a forerunner to today’s Navy S.E.A.L. program and was also one of the contributing authors to the Navy Dive Manual.

Many of my expeditions have been included in books, magazines, and television. I have been featured on networks such as: The Travel Channel, The Discovery Channel, Fox Nation, & The History Channel on hit TV shows such as Expedition Unknown and The UnXplained with William Shatner, etc. Also, my hobbies are sky diving, snow skiing, snowboarding, jogging, scuba diving, water skiing, weight training, reading, mountain climbing, playing classical guitar, and martial arts/hand to hand combat along with weapons training are some of my hobbies. I am certified in every aspect of scuba diving, including, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Wreck Diver, Deep Water Diver, Search & Recovery, Rescue Diver, Dive Master, Master Diver, Mixed Gas Diver, Instructor, etc. and I have been certified in all of these by P.A.DI., N.A.U.I., P.D.I.C., additionally I also received my 100-ton Master Captain's License. My training in Martial Arts and Hand to Hand Combat include, Shotokan Karate, Aikido, Tai Chi, Wha Lum Tam tui, Hsing I, Krav Maga, Taijitsu, Gojo ryu, Judo, etc. I have also trained overseas in Japan.
