Mark Franceschini

Mark Franceschini (also known as Sea Rouge) brings to the team his skills of diving, productions and historical research. He is part of the Treasure Expeditions Dive Team and has worked the famous 1715 Treasure Fleet. Mark is currently working with the team on an expedition and film production of the legendary pirate Jose Gaspar, "Gasparilla".

Mark Franceschini

Mark Franceschini - Diver / Productions / Historian

Mark Franceschini is a certified diver with an extensive background in diving. He is also a member of the

 Treasure Expeditions Dive Team and has dove and worked on the famous 1715 Treasure Fleet. Mark has also worked with the famous treasure hunter Carl "Fizz" Fismer and his team members.

Mr. Franceschini is currently working with the CEO, Bradley "Brad" Williamson and Carl "Fizz" Fismer on a production and expedition regarding the legendary pirate Jose Gaspar. Mark brings his extensive background of filming and production skills to the project. He honed his skills during his years of filming and productions in Europe.

Mark also works with the team as a historian. His extensive background and knowledge of history has been a great asset to the team. Given his extensive knowledge, Mark was able to provide the documented history and meaning behind the extremely unique and valuable artifact of the Gold Pelican recovered on the 1715 Fleet by Bonnie Schubert. Mark provided this material to the current owner of the Gold Pelican who is a good friend of Bradley Williamson.

On a personal level, Mark (also known as the Sea Rogue) was born in New York City where he received a fine Catholic education and developed a love of the Tridentine Latin Mass, Church history and religious artifacts. Mark lived in England for several years in the towns of Yorkshire and points North. Upon his return to the "New World", he chose to settle in Florida, or as he prefers, Pascua Florida, on the "Spanish Main".

While in Florida he pursued his love of diving, all things nautical and to hunt for sunken treasure. when not pursuing these maritime adventures he can be found training in both classical and modern Ninjutsu, playing historic wargames and Old School D&D, or reading an Patrick O'Brian novel, whilist enjoying a tot of rum.
